Somali Family Service has been serving immigrants, refugees, and other underserved populations for the past 25 years with support from our community champions. At least 10,000 people rely on our support each year to get connected to important resources, achieve self-sufficiency, and overcome barriers to accessing services.
Recent policy and economic changes have led to increasing demand for safety net services like access to food, rental and utility assistance, transportation, and other urgent needs. While needs are growing, funding cuts have left us with
a gap of $500,000 in our annual budget. We need the help of our community champions now more than ever to address this funding gap and ensure that our friends, families, neighbors, and communities don’t get left behind.
Any amount is welcome. Here are some examples of what your support can provide:
• $25 - Provides nutritious food for a family of 4
• $50 - Empowers 20 individuals per month through educational workshops
• $100 - Helps us cover a portion of past due utility bills for struggling families
Make your donation monthly! Monthly donations provide SFS with a reliable source of income that helps us to maintain our infrastructure and deliver important programs, services, and resources to the community.
